As adults you will need a job or position, and yes there are a wide variety of jobs and yes you will have to apply for a lot of them.

A list of jobs/positions that MUST be applied for is posed here. These kinds of jobs include, Minister for Magic, owner of The Leaky Cauldron, etc.

If you want to be a store owner or a Ministry official (eg. Auror) or a Wizengamot interrogator, etc. you will have to apply here.

Beyond
In the future I hope to add additional forums (if there is interest) that include overseas wizard schools, ministries, hospitals etc so that interaction between 'countries' can be achieved.
